Rep. Eric Swalwell, a leading candidate for California governor, publicly denied allegations of inappropriate behavior with female staffers at a Sacramento town hall. He called the claims “false,” saying no complaints, settlements, or NDAs exist in his office. The accusations, first raised by social media influencers and Politico, emerged just weeks before the June primary, which Swalwell is tied for the lead in.
